Northtown KIA is currently looking for a maintenance employee to help with the general, daily, upkeep of our dealership.

Essential Job Functions: Includes, but not limited, to the following:

• Open stores: Service/Sales doors, do a walk-through each morning
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping various flooring throughout the dealership
• Maintaining all light bulbs
• Check & stock all soap & paper towel dispensers regularly throughout all stores
• Check soap, paper towel, toilet paper, trash liners and other paper products are stocked for all customer, service, and employee bathrooms, at all stores.
• Clean lunch rooms and refrigerators once a week, including coffee pots & microwaves.
• Clean parts, sales & service manager offices regularly.
• Clean & mop customer service area & show room.
• Fill, maintain & order all products for eye wash and first aid cabinet
• Maintain the interior and exterior of the building; paint, wash, sweep, empty cigarette containers, etc.
• Uphold laws and safety standards for: D.E.C. – Fire Inspector – OSHA – NFADA – MSDS regulations
• Perform small maintenance repairs, as needed.
• Various other jobs, similar to those above.

Schedule:  Monday - Friday 5:30/6:00AM - 2:00/2:30PM

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Driver’s license
• Must be able to read/interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Must also be able to speak effectively to customers, managers & other employees in the company.
• Basic math in order to track inventory and order supplies

Physical Requirements:

• This is a physically demanding position. Employee will be on their feet walking and moving around the majority of their shift. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
